About John Binet-Fauvel
Wire sculptor John Binet-Fauvel works exclusively in recycled wire. Based in the Rhondda in South Wales, John constructs abstract sculpture and life-size animals by knitting on hand-made frames to form complex 3-dimensional pieces.Johns knitted wire creations are intricate and rugged, due to the nature of the material, with complex articulations allowed by the process of knitting.
As a contemporary sculptor John has exhibited around the UK and his work is currently on permanent display in several galleries around Wales.
