Starfish.

  starfish1Made with red and light coloured copper wire recycled from a transformer. The arms articulate, mimicking the real creature.   I do not try to copy them, but just catch their essence.starfish

 

 

 

 

 

  Monkfish

monkfish1monkfish2This particular piece is made with red, dark and light copper wire for the top half of the body and  white plastic coated wire for its underside.

 

 

 

 

 

Tube Sponge

tube spongetube sponge1The copper wire for this is recycled from an old computer screen and is created on a wooden french kntting frame I designed and made myself.

This starfish is knitted with wire from the insides of a slot machine and the colours are just as they are.

 

 

 

 

Small Octopus

Both plastic coated wire and coloured copper wire were used to create this small octopus. The eyes are made of bronze bearings from an electical motor.
