John was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands in 1953.   He trained in Fine Art Sculpture at Winchester School of Art in the mid 70's achieving a B.A. 2:1.   In the early 80's John became a partner in his wife's knitting business " Melissa Warren".  During this time he explored knitted sculptural forms which led to experiments with wire.   John has now been set up a studio of his own and works from home.
